Return-it for the Ocean!

Want to help our volunteers to recover marine debris from some of B.C.'s most remote coastlines?

It's expensive work, getting all that debris lifted by helicopter, barged and trucked to its final destination. Now there's an easy way you can help us out: stay home and drink more. (Just kidding) But those refundable beverage containers do tend to pile up and when they do, you can turn them into support for our Clear the Coast program. Or maybe you'd like to organize a bottle drive, or clean up a beach, a river, a roadside--the ocean is downhill from everywhere, so anywhere you clean up, you're ultimately saving the ocean from more pollution. And I guarantee you'll find refundable drink cans and bottles anywhere you choose to clean up. Now it's easier than ever to turn those containers into cash! Just bag them in clear bags--no counting, no lineups, no hassle.

The Return-It App makes donations easy. Three simple steps:

1. Log-in to your account through the Return-It App (found on Google Play Store or the iOS App store) or visit https://app.return-it.ca.

2. Donate to Living Oceans organization using the following link:

   You’ll have the option to set auto-donations or a one-time donation.
