Canadian company in negotiations with Trump to mine seabed

Canadian company The Metals Company plans to ignore the International Seabed Authority by applying to President Trump for permission to mine the seabed in international waters.

We'd love to see Prime Minister Carney ask the Director appointed under the Canada Business Corporations Act to apply to the Court for an order restraining the directors and officers of The Metal Company from flaunting the laws of Canada in this way.
