Watershed Watch Salmon Society and other conservation groups represented by Ecojustice, get ready for Mowi Canada West appeal
The Watershed Watch Salmon Society is getting ready to fend off another challenge from Movi Canada West to overturn the 2024 decision on banning fish farms off of the Discovery Islands.
Thanks to the three First Nations of the Broughton Archipelago (Mamalilikulla, Namgis, and Kwikwasut’inuxw Haxwa’mis) and scientist Alexandra Morton, we can begin to look at changes in the health and abundance of wild salmon in the aftermath of salmon farm removal.
